The Fates are cackling their bony asses off…

It’s been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they’ve given him have been violent and bloody–which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He’s got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.

Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy’s deal might be, but it’s a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to puree. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is gunning for her.

But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all.

Because history has once again been flipped to repeat.

Book 1 in the new adult paranormal TITAN series, spin-off to the best selling COVENANT series.

Review

Sethie and Josie sitting in a tree... ;-P

Sethie aka our favorite cuddle bunny is back and he kicks it up a notch. Badass fighting, ninja skills, sass, jokes, flirting, sexual innuendos, cuddles, caring for someone other than himself (hint: Josie), you name it. He surprises Josie, the characters, us readers and himself.

I went into this with a YA state of mind just like I did with ACOTAR... I have to stop doing that. I mean, both authors are mostly YA authors, after all. I guess I just got used to that. The steam and sexy times gave me a whiplash until I remembered that these are actually NA, not YA. It was hot to finally see Seth in action after all we heard about his rep in the Covenant series.

As for the gods, yeah, they were total assholes as per usual, but you can't help but love (some of) them. It was somewhat good to see them. Thank gods they showed up and saved the day from the big bag Hyperion. Josie tapped into her demigod powers and did something that will sure to put a bounty/target over her head, and it's going to get rowdy and scary for her in the next book because of that. I only wished that we got to see Alex and Aiden, but maybe in the next one. That'll be interesting.

JLA never fails — Her voice written in true JLA-like fashion. It's always funny, full of complexities and depth, sexy and sarcastic. Those are what I like about her books. There's that distinction that incorporates the embodiment of JLA's humor and spirit into her writing. It's what people, including myself, love about her books. That's what makes it more personal — when the authors voice is so strong in their own writing.

I can't wait to meet Jennifer and Sethie aka Drew Leighty (the cover model) at Love N Vegas this summer! I'll probably fangirl and swoon so hard and die. What a way to go. ;)
